BatteryStatus is a plugin that shows the remaining load of the main battery, CPU usage, temperature and others. It can count incoming and outgoing SMS for monthly use. Furthermore, it can log (write into a file) the date, time, duration and call number of incoming and outgoing calls and sms to an xml-file. There are also indicators which need to poll periodically and can be activated or deactivated by show or hide them. These indicators show actual signal strength of phone modul, free-memory for programme storage and SD card, free-memory for data (programme usage) and batterydrain in mA or mW.

Want to overclock your windows mobile? Follow this steps:

1. Download BatteryStatus application.

2. After installing BatteryStatus, open the application.

3. Go to the ‘Omap’ tab.

4. See next to the ‘Original Speed’, click ‘Get’.

5. Go to ‘Overclock to Speed’ and set the speed that you want to clock the processor at. (more than 80 mhz is not recommended)

6. After finish, click ‘Set’.

OMAPCLOCK

OmapClock is an application that can overclock Windows Mobile and it has good options for Omap processor. It increases or reduces the clock frequency of Windows Mobile. It can overclock the device from 180mhz to the better looking 247mhz.

The syntax is Omapclock -clock [-confirm] [-launch[-restore]] -clock such as OmapClock -clock 144-launch “/Storage/test.exe” -restore. The parameters are:

1. confirm – to ask for acknowledgement when changing the frequency

2. launch – to start the programme (a way to specify in double inverted commas)

3. restore – to restore the latest frequency after end of the started programme (it is ignored if parameter launch is not set)
