Calling for all gamers, MSI GT660, the all-new uber high-end gaming notebook is officially available now. It has a 15.6inch screen, 4-in-1 card reader, DVD or Blu-ray burner, e-SATA port and a 9 cell battery that can last long for three hours. The price starts from US$2500 depends on the configuration.

The notebook runs on an Intel Core i7 720QM 2.8GHz mobile processor. The processor that is modified by Turbo Drive Engine can go beyond the limits of intended frequencies. The notebook has nVidia’s mobile 285GTX graphic processor that can perform up to 50%. It also has a dual hard disk configuration in a RAID setup. It can be used for faster data access and for maximum storage expansion and it can also install up tp 1.2TB capacity.
The sound system is featured by Dynaudio, a reference-status maker of sound systems. The notebook can deliver smooth gaming performance plus the best audio aficionados. Besides the loudspeaker drivers that supports the audio performance, the driver basket, voice call and diaphragm, driver housing, the cabinet architecture and the speaker’s position also help to deliver the best audio performance.
The notebook design looks very cool and attractive. It has glowing white ‘MSI’ logo at the cover’s centre, black diamond shape and glowing trim. Besides that, the housing is coated with MSI’s durable, glossy colour film. Below the keyboard, there is a stylish rhombic pattern while there is the brushed finish on the touchpad. These features are designed to prevent scratches.
MSI GT660 also comes with the next-generation USB3.0 interface that operates up to 4.8Gbps and also a HD webcam that can capture 720p video. The notebook has 3 memory slots that can accommodate up to 12GB of DDR3 memory.
